- Who can
compete in the tournament? All students are welcome to
compete. The tournament is open to all ages and all ranks.
- What is
the cost of the tournament? The competition fee is $20.00
and weapons is $15.00. Competition includes forms and one
steps/sparring.
- Who can
compete with a weapon? Any student that has a weapon can
compete. The student will perform a 20 second free-style with
their choice of weapon.
- What does
a student need to know? Students needs to know their form.
White, Orange Yellow belts need to know #1 and #2 One Steps.
Camo belts and higher will also compete in point sparring.

Who will
the student be competing against?
This is an inner school tournament. Only students of Beebe's ATA
Black Belt Academy will be competing.
- Who will
be judging? The instructors from Mr. Beebe's school, that
teach the classes, will be judging.
- Do all
students get a medal for competing? Every student will
earn a medal.
- What time
do we need to be here? Competition times will be posted
approximately one week after registration closes.
- When is
the registration deadline? Registration ends on November 3rd
at closing time. (There is a registration deadline because Mr.
Beebe needs to schedule and assign ring judges, competitors and
times.)
- How long
will the competition last? Generally, each session will last
about an hour.
- Is there a
spectator admission fee? No, there are no additional fee for
this tournament.
- Will there
be food or t-shirts for sale? No food will be available. But
we always have t-shirts available for purchase.
- What
should competitors wear? Competitors must wear their
complete uniform and bring all mandatory equipment.
